1896 Singer model 28 with hand crank - "Victorian" decal set.
This is my oldest machine. It was made the same year as two of my grandparents 1896! Where it was made is unknown. It's Bentwood case top is made of oak and has no lock, just a latch. The hand crank works perfectly!
I bought this machine in Vancouver, BC. When we were purchasing it, the bottom of the case literally fell apart. A little wood glue and it is good as new now. I have had to replace the tension set on it as well and purchase a bobbin shuttle for it as it did not have one.
